Subscription & Billing Terms

Who pays
People use 2GED free. Only organizations buy plans. Members never pay individually for their organization's plan.
Plans and frequency
Self-service plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe. Health, Gov and Enterprise plans are arranged by contract.
Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Trials
Organizations may start a 14-day trial where offered. No payment is taken for a trial.
Upgrades and downgrades
Plan changes are made through the secure billing portal. Proration follows Stripe's standard behavior.

Failed payments
If a payment fails, the organization keeps full access for 7 days while you update the payment method. After that, premium features become read-only. No data is deleted.
Founding pricing
Organizations that subscribe while the Founding offer is open keep the founding price while the subscription stays active.
Taxes
Prices exclude taxes unless stated.
