The verified indicator means one specific thing: 2GEDAPPS checked this organization's identity. Nothing more, and we say exactly what it doesn't mean.
What it means
- • 2GEDAPPS reviewed information showing this organization exists.
- • The person who applied was an authorized administrator of the organization at the time of review.
- • The official name and website shown were checked against the documents supplied.
What it does not mean
- • It is not an endorsement, recommendation or quality rating.
- • It is not accreditation, licensing or government approval.
- • It is not a compliance certification of any kind — including HIPAA, FERPA, SOC 2, ISO or GDPR.
- • It is not a guarantee of safety, conduct or financial standing.
How review works
- Step 1
Request
An owner or administrator submits the organization's legal name, official email, website and country.
- Step 2
Documents
Supporting documents are uploaded to private storage. Members of the organization never see them.
- Step 3
Review
A 2GEDAPPS reviewer examines the request. Organizations can never approve their own verification.
- Step 4
Decision
Verified, not approved, or more information required — always with a reason recorded.
Verification statuses

Verification can be suspended or revoked — for example after a legal name change, a domain change or a credible impersonation report. Verification is never granted automatically for paying, for having a website, or for using an email address at a matching domain.
